People need support during the holidays!
Holidays can be as stressful as they are cheerful…mostly overwhelming with flurries of nostalgia and a dash of family feuds, give or take. This can be a recipe for disaster so we need to be prepared and by prepared I don’t mean sweating bullets until the big festivities arrive.
It can feel like the culmination of the entire year rests on this itty-bitty season. You may see people you haven’t seen throughout the year or even feel as if you must take stock of your life during the holidays.
I have really taken my holidays down a notch- or I should say up a notch? I don’t focus on “perfect” anymore. A few years ago I wrote down my favorite things for each holiday. Absolute favorites! That’s what I focus on. If the other miscellany doesn’t happen then I don’t get stressed about it. There’s some serious power in deciding what you really want to do.
And some people will ask, “How do you do that?” I reply, “What do you mean how do I do that? I just do it.” I think what people really want to know is how do I do that without missing out on something- they want the easy way- no missing out, no hurt feelings, etc. Yes, you may “miss out” (FOMO!!) on something and you will have to say ‘no’, but you enjoy what you’ve chosen so much more so are you really missing out?
I also like to watch old movies- even older than ‘National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation‘ (that’s a good one!). I’m talking about old movies like ‘It’s a Wonderful Life‘ and ‘White Christmas‘. They remind us what the holidays are really about. Sounds corny I admit. But I think it does a world of good to escape the 21st century mindset and jump inside a different mindset these Christmas portray- movies that center around a good lesson and holiday spirit.
Ok, so you came here for the FREE meditation. I thought this would be a good one for the holidays when childhood pain can sometimes show up as an extra side dish during family gatherings.
Your inner child is an echo of who you truly are at your core, based on the child you once were. If negative early childhood experiences and emotional wounds resurface in your life it is because your inner child yearns for attention, understanding, and support. If you could go back and parent yourself differently or treat yourself better, you absolutely would! What would you say and do for yourself as a child today? Now is your chance to connect with your inner child in this deep and transformative meditation.
DOWNLOAD TODAY: THIS MEDITATION WILL ONLY BE ON SALE FOR !!FREE!! FROM November 21 to December 26, 2018.
